Current Projects

Thanks to the encouragement of many, I’m currently curating my prayers into books, guided spiritual journals, and cards. Thank you for your prayers for this project.

Previous Project Highlights:

In 2024, I’m thrilled to have four of my prayers/liturgies included in Worship Any Time or Place – The Compact Book of Methodist Liturgies, Prayers, and Other Acts of Blessing. (Abingdon, released 1/2024)

In 2023, I created resources for pilgrimage to the Wesley sites in England and updated my resources for pilgrimage to the Holy Land. This includes self-publishing Lands of the Bible Travel Journal, a guided spiritual journal for recording your reflections on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land or other Biblical sites. Educational Opportunities purchased 5,000 journals for those traveling with them. Contact me directly for information on using any of my pilgrimage resources for your tour group or to have me prepare your group spiritually and practically for your trip.

I was thrilled to appear on two episodes of The Caring Congregation Podcast discussing Care in Crisis: Care after a Hurricane. (Season 7, espisodes 5 and 6)

In 2022, I began a partnership with the good folks at The Pastor’s Workshop, a subscription website curating faith-full, meaning-full, power-full resources for sermon and worship prep. You’ll find my contributions as part of their prayer and liturgy resources, and from time to time in their lectionary sermon resources.

In 2021, I coordinated worship for the Florida Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church. I also contributed three commentaries to The Abingdon Preaching Annual 2022 a longstanding, trusted resource for weekly sermon and worship planning. (Abingdon, released 4/2021)

In 2020, I provided prayers for two Florida Conference Facebook projects, Summer in the Scriptures (thousands of folks reading the Gospels together) and Bishop Ken Carter’s Wednesday Night Bible Study.

My Israel Spiritual Travel Journal had its first test run in February 2020 in Israel prior to the pandemic.

2016- Created worship liturgy for the 2016 Southeastern Jurisdictional gathering of United Methodists in Lake Junaluska.

2011- Contributed the hymn text Bless Christ Through Whom All Things are Made to the United Methodist resource Worship and Song. (Abingdon, 2011)

2006- My first published work was four prayer poems for the collection Courageous Spirit- Voices From Women in Ministry compiled to celebrate the 50th anniversary of full clergy rights for women in the United Methodist Church. (Upper Room, 2006)
