Lord save us, we are going down…
another disease
another divorce
another death

another scandal
another shooting
another suicide

Lord save us, we are going down…
another craving
another closure
another conflict

Lord save us, we are going down…
another addiction
another abuse
another attack

We are afraid
We are undone

We are not alone

You stand
our refuge and strength
our help in storm and struggle
rebuking the crushing chaos

There will be calm
There is calm

Blessed be your Holy Name
Jesus Christ
Our Savior and Lord forever
Amen
