2014 Bible Reading Plan for Christmas
Day 16 Reading: Luke 2:8-14
Angels and Shepherds

the glory of the Lord shone around them
– Luke 2:9

Prayer Poem: Glorious One
Glorious One
Let your kingdom come
Pervading, designing
Creating, surprising
Glorious One

Tender One
Beckoning home the lost son
Embracing our sighing
Accepting, abiding
Tender one

Generous One
Arms open wide in welcome
Adopting, providing
Protecting, residing
Generous One

Peacemaking One
Saving the world without guns
Dying, arising
Healing, uniting
Peacemaking One

Hallelujah! Hallelujah!
Hearts are reviving
Vision is widening
Praises are rising
Thanksgiving flying
Glorious, Glorious, Glorious One!
